In a significant boost to the development of Andhra Pradesh’s capital city Amaravati, the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) approved two major Central government infrastructure projects with a revised combined estimated cost of over ₹2,533 crore.The approved projects include the Central Government General Pool Office Accommodation (CGGPOA) and the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA), which are aimed at creating modern office and residential infrastructure for Central government employees in Amaravati.
