Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein in "Office Romance".

As a childhood fan of Jennifer Lopez’s romantic comedies, including “Monster-In-Law” and “Maid in Manhattan”, I was thrilled to see her return to the genre in “Office Romance".

The brand-new Netflix movie sees Lopez lead a modern corporate rom-com, but it was her co-star, Brett Goldstein, who really caught my attention.

Having thoroughly enjoyed his work on “Ted Lasso”, where he stars as the gruff but lovable footballer-turned-coach Roy Kent in the hit comedy series, I was excited to see him leading the line alongside a Hollywood heavyweight in a very different kind of role.

Having written the film alongside Joe Kelly - and directed by Ol Parker - the British actor shines as both a cast member and a vital part of the production’s creative team in a story which unfolds across corporate offices, boardroom tensions and international travel.
