President Donald Trump has officially nominated Todd Blanche to serve as the next Attorney General, after firing Pam Bondi from the job in April. After Bondi's exit, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche was named the acting Attorney General.

While Lee Zeldin, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was among the top choices earlier, Trump has now nominated Blanche.
