Church robbed at gunpoint
They did not care if the wrath of God came down on them, they came to steal from the people that was busy worshipping. As the congregation was singing, the robbers waived a gun and started to rob the members of the Apostolic Faith Mission Jericho City of Praise Church in Samora Machel on Sunday morning.
The entire incident was caught on video. There were five gun-wielding robbers who interrupted their service to take their personal belongings and sound system.
In the clip, which later went viral, two women can be seen leading the service with a song before one of the robbers interrupts them by waving a gun.
He greeted the congregation with a “molweni” before he and his crew took phones, personal belongings and a sound system and fled the scene.
