June 9 (UPI) -- Jordan Staal fell and slid on the ice as he watched his shot beat Carter Hart for what proved to be a gritty game-winning goal in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday in Las Vegas.

The score, which occurred with 13:28 remaining, was just the latest exploit in a hectic series. It also was Staal's second goal in the 5-3 triumph, which helped the Hurricanes tie the best-of-seven-game series 2-2.

Fellow Hurricanes forward Nikolaj Ehlers logged a goal and two assists. Hurricanes goalie Brandon Bussi, who drew his first career playoff start, made 18 saves.

"A lot of kids grow up and they dream about doing something like this," Bussi said on the ABC broadcast. "I'm honored to have the opportunity.
