United Kingdom-based Nigerian, Chibueze Chukwurah, has been remanded in custody following the death of another Nigerian, Taiwo Ekerin, in Lewisham High Street, London.
The UK Metropolitan Police confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.
Recall that PUNCH Metro reported that police officers were called to Lewisham High Street at about 4:40 a.m. on May 24 following reports of an altercation.
The police had stated that Ekerin later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on May 30.
The police had also announced that one suspect, 32-year-old Maxwell Oguanaya, was remanded over the incident.
