Proton Security Services Limited has been named Best Security Company of the Year 2026, earning regional recognition for its contributions to security service delivery, innovation and operational excellence.
According to a statement on Tuesday, the award was presented at the West Africa Innovation Awards ceremony held at the Watercress Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, placing Proton Security ahead of other leading industry players, including Ashaka Security Limited and Kings Guard Nigeria Limited.
The West Africa Innovation Awards celebrate organisations and leaders that have demonstrated excellence, resilience, innovation and transformative leadership across various sectors of the economy.
Speaking after receiving the award, the Managing Director of Proton Security Services Limited, Adekunmi Odebunmi, described the recognition as an affirmation of the company’s commitment to professionalism, consistency and high standards in the private security industry.
According to him, the achievement reflects years of investment in technical expertise, disciplined operational processes and strategic stakeholder engagement, which have helped strengthen the company’s presence and service delivery capabilities across Nigeria.
