Donald Tusk hinted that, despite the crisis in relations, he expects Volodymyr Zelensky to attend the International Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk on June 25-26, 2026.
The Polish prime minister said this at a press conference in Warsaw, Ukrinform's correspondent reports.
According to Tusk, Zelensky is a co-organizer of the event.
Tusk said that he was not waiting for any confirmation and that they would of course welcome in Gdańsk those who come, including companies and business representatives, adding that it was in the interests of both Ukraine and Poland.
The prime minister added that it is important to him that the conference in Gdańsk be successful, since the talks will also concern Polish interests in the process of rebuilding Ukraine.
