Oscar Branning's affair with his girlfriend Jasmine's brother has been exposed as he was seen kissing Josh with a bruise from Jasmine's slap still fresh on his face20:06, 09 Jun 2026EastEnders are bringing Oscar's love triangle with Jasmine and Josh to an explosive end, as he was caught in the act whilst conducting his affair with his girlfriend's brother.‌Since Josh Goodwin arrived on EastEnders earlier this year, he and Oscar have been drawn to each other. When they first hooked up, they were unaware that Oscar's then ex girlfriend was Josh's long-lost twin, but after they realised the connection, Oscar had already gone back to Jasmine.‌That didn't stop their flirtation turning into something more though. The pair continued to connect and Josh even told Oscar that he liked him romantically, knowing the boy was in a relationship with his sister. This turned into a full blown affair, as Oscar started dating both twins behind Jasmine's back.‌In Tuesday's episode, that affair was exposed, as Oscar went to sleep with Josh again and was caught kissing him by the twins' grandmother Kat Slater. A gobsmacked Kat said "Oh my God!" when she saw what was happening through the window.This came just after Jasmine was left in tears by an interaction with Oscar. Oscar had learnt from Josh that the two were separated on their birthday. After learning this, and the reason why they were put in separate homes - which involved the fact that Jasmine had watched her foster father die after they were both in a car crash - he went to talk to Jasmine about it.‌Upon learning that Oscar knew about her past, Jasmine became agitated. She made it clear she didn't want to talk about it and when Oscar kept pushing, she hit him with the back of her hand. The mark was still visible when Oscar went to talk to Josh again.Fans have previously been split about who Oscar should end up with between the twins. But after Josh seemed to pursue Oscar despite knowing he was in a relationship with his sister, many fans joined Jasmine's side.After tonight's episode, one said: "I’m not saying Jasmine is an angel by any means but she’s clearly a very broken girl who never had the same support Josh did growing up. But Josh is actively getting all over her man for.. what? Ruining the one support she’s had."‌Another said: "I hope after Jasmine's birthday Kat tells Jasmine and Jasmine gets rid of Oscar and Josh out of her life." They added: "Josh, her own brother, still pining and not caring about what he’s doing is even more messed up."A third continued to point out that Oscar told Josh that Jasmine was upset and Josh didn't seem to care. Loved to see Zoe and Jasmine interacting though."In the episode, Zoe Slater, the twins' birth mother, was organising a birthday party for her daughter. Her mother, Kat, made it clear to Jasmine that she was their "priority".
