GUSAU — A Federal High Court sitting in Gusau, Zamfara State, has adjourned a suit filed by APC Zamfara North senatorial aspirant, Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, against the Independent National Electoral Commission, the All Progressives Congress and Senator Sahabi Ya’u Kaura to June 25, 2026.
Shinkafi is challenging the alleged non-conduct of senatorial primary elections in Zamfara North, which he said contravened the provisions of the APC constitution.
Presiding over the matter, Justice Hassan Dikko noted the absence of two of the three defendants — INEC and the APC — and subsequently adjourned the case until June 25, 2026, for further mention.
