Harris was found guilty of a string of indecent assaults between 1968 and 1986 following a trial in 2014, with some of his victims as young as eight.Australian channel ABC TV are about to further expose the fallen national treasure in new documentary Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator, detailing how celebrity, nostalgia and unchecked power shielded decades of abuse. Harris, who was jailed for nearly six years and died aged 93 in 2023, never said sorry to those he abused.Chris 'Bear' Brosnan, who worked with Harris for years, recalled the moment that he discovered his boss had a sexual interest in children. In a preview for the programme, which airs tonight, the shamed star's former colleague remembers how the cracks started to appear when they returned from filming one day."We were heading back from a show in London, and there were two schoolgirls walking along the road in Maidenhead," he said."I'm just driving along and Rolf says, point blank, 'Jesus Christ, couldn't you just f*** the pair of them?' As I'm sitting there, I'm hearing him say it, and I literally said 'What the are you talking about? Really? What are you talking about, Rolf?'"These are two little girls, man. When I've looked back on that, I think that that was Rolf testing water with me. To see 'if I can bring Bear on board with my s**t?'."His rotting home was in Maidenhead near to where he eyed-up the girls was finally sold earlier this year. The house by the Thames was where he carried out some of the sex assaults outlined in the court case against him. It did not reach its reserve price at an auction last month after being listed at £1.95m Bidding began at £1.4m after no one offered £1.95m.Harris bought the pad in 1980 with his wife Alwen, but it has fallen into disrepair since his death from neck cancer in May 2023. His widow Alwen, who stood by him throughout his court case, died the following year.The shocking court case, which spanned two trials, led to more victims coming forward to claim Harris had assaulted them. In 2017, one of his convictions was overturned on appeal, but 11 convictions remained and ended his once glittering career.Content cannot be displayed without consentHarris was released from prison on licence after serving three years of his sentence and returned to live in his multi-million pound mansion A virtual recluse, he died on May 10, 2023 at the age of 93 following years of ill health, including diabetes. His death certificate stated his cause of death was neck cancer and 'frailty of old age'.Judge Mr Justice Sweeney said he had taken advantage of his celebrity status and shown "no remorse". In 2016, while still in prison, Harris was charged in relation to seven unconnected historic allegations of indecent assault but was cleared on three counts and the jury was discharged before reaching a verdict on the remaining four.He was later retried for three offences and one new charge but was acquitted after the jury could not reach a verdict. "I feel no sense of victory, only relief," Harris said in a statement at the time.The fallen entertainer was nicknamed Willy Wonka by fellow inmates at Bullingdon jail, near Oxford, because he kept giving them chocolate bars.
