Minister of Roads and Buildings B.C. Janardhan Reddy, on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), urged the leaders of the NDA coalition to strictly ensure transparency in the electoral rolls, as well as in enrolling eligible youth as voters, rectifying errors in voter details, and effectively conducting field-level voter verification.Mr. Janardhan Reddy participated in an awareness programme regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll, held in Banaganapalle town on Tuesday. He stated that leaders and party workers across all constituencies must remain extremely vigilant during the SIR process.The Minister called upon the cadres of the alliance parties to work in coordination at the field level to uphold transparency in the electoral roll. He also advised them to be vigilant regarding the opposition’s conduct concerning issues such as the deletion of existing votes and the registration of bogus votes during the SIR process.The Minister instructed Booth Level Agents to thoroughly study the guideline handbooks. Those who attended the meeting included committee members (at the parliamentary, constituency, mandal, and village levels), representatives of cluster, unit, and booth committees, as well as leaders and workers from various affiliated wings of the NDA alliance parties.
