Two sons, one day, and an unimaginable loss.
For the first time, doting dad Johan Barnard opened up after the death of his sons, eight-year-old Dean and two-week-old LJ, just hours apart on the same day.
“This is a pain I never knew a person could feel,” a heartbroken Barnard said.
Both boys, who were born with Shone’s complex - a rare heart condition - were admitted to hospital last week with a lung infection.
