June 9 (UPI) -- Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino are working on the follow-up to their 1997 comedy classic, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.
"The reunion you've been waiting for! The Romy and Michele sequel is now in production," a post on the actress' Instagram pages said Monday.
The message, which included a photo of the stars holding hands and sitting in director's chairs, also appeared on the 20th Century Studios, Disney+ and Hulu social pages.
"It's finally happening. Bursting with joy to be 'reunited!'" Sorvino commented.
