A 'dark' and 'unpredictable' crime drama has confirmed its return date and fans haven't got long to wait11:54, 09 Jun 2026Crime drama fans looking for their next fix need look no further.‌'Gripping' and 'unpredictable' series, The Crow Girl, is back for series two and the show has now confirmed its highly-anticipated return date.‌Series two of the Paramount+ thriller will air on Monday 20 July and it will consist of six episodes. Show leads such as Gone star Eve Myles is back as DCI Jeanette Kilburn while former Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly returns as Dr Sophia Craven.‌Other stars returning from series one include Elliot Edusah, Victoria Hamilton and Peter de Jersey.Series one sees "DCI Jeanette Kilburn and eminent psychotherapist Dr. Sophia Craven join forces to hunt the killer of young men; the investigation takes Jeanette and Sophia into a dangerous world of historic abuse and murder."Meanwhile, a synopsis for series two teases: "DCI Jeanette Kilburn's hunt for the killers of young male asylum seekers take a shocking new turn, as a mummified body discovered in a church wall, and a body in a freezer, reveal a chilling connection".‌The synopsis adds: "As Jeanette digs deeper, Dr Sophia Craven begins to suspect Victoria Burkeman, her mysterious and unstable former patient could be responsible."With the case growing darker, Sophia suspects Victoria is more familiar than she thought, and Jeanette must face the terrifying truth: the killer may be closer than she ever imagined."‌The first series released to rave reviews and it has an 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
