India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been ruled out of the upcoming T20I tours of Ireland and England after the BCCI decided to give him a break under its workload management programme, with Prasidh Krishna called up as his replacement.The decision comes after consultations between the BCCI medical staff and team management, who felt the pacer would benefit from a period of rest ahead of a packed international calendar.In a statement released on Tuesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India said Siraj's withdrawal was a precautionary step aimed at ensuring he remains fresh for the challenges that lie ahead later in the season."Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been withdrawn from India's squads for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and England," the board said."Following discussions between the BCCI Medical Team and the Team Management, Siraj has been advised a period of rest as part of his workload management programme."The selectors have named Prasidh Krishna as Siraj's replacement for both assignments.Siraj has had a demanding run in recent months. After earning a late call-up to India's T20 World Cup squad, the right-arm quick featured in every one of Gujarat Titans' 17 matches during IPL 2026, finishing the campaign with 19 wickets.
