The arrested individual is believed to be Somalian and in his 30s, following the incident which occurred around 10.30pm on Monday in Kinnaird Avenue. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed the arrest and stated that the injured man was taken to hospital, with the scene remaining cordoned off for investigation. Political representatives, including North Belfast MP John Finucane and local DUP councillor Jordan Doran, expressed shock and concern for community safety, urging anyone with information to assist the police.
