Ngizwe Mchunu has launched a scathing attack on Zulu Traditional Prime Minister Thulasizwe Buthelezi, branding him an untrustworthy opportunist amid a dispute over the involvement of Zulu regiments in anti-illegal immigration protests allegedly conducted without the authorisation of the Zulu monarchy.

Former Ukhozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu has launched a scathing attack on KwaZulu-Natal Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC and Zulu Traditional Prime Minister Thulasizwe Buthelezi, accusing him of being untrustworthy and likening him to an unfaithful spouse.

Mchunu made the remarks during an interview on the YouTube programme King Zoso TV while responding to comments made by Buthelezi last week. The Traditional Prime Minister had raised concerns about individuals allegedly mobilising Zulu regiments without the approval of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini and using them to incite violence.

“Thulasizwe should never have been appointed Traditional Prime Minister of the amaZulu because he has repeatedly shown that he has a problem with people like us, who are fighting for peace and the wellbeing of society. To me, he is like an adulterous and unfaithful wife because he cannot be trusted,” said Mchunu.
