US President Donald Trump announced that the United States may declare “total victory” over the Islamic Republic within the next two weeks. He also claimed that Iranian negotiators in ongoing talks “are ready to give us everything.”

According to a CBS report, speaking at a campaign rally in the state of South Carolina on Monday evening, June 8, Trump stated: “In the next two weeks, we will declare total victory. This will happen very soon, and it will bring down oil prices.”

Trump’s remarks come amid reports of ongoing diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran to reach a new agreement. He had previously urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to refrain from escalating tensions with the Islamic Republic in order to advance the negotiations.

Meanwhile, Yechiel Leiter, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, emphasized in an interview with Fox News that the relationship between Trump and Netanyahu is built on “cooperation, friendship, and mutual consultation.” He added that the US and Israel “started the military operations against the Islamic Republic together, and we will finish them together.”

On the other hand, US Vice President JD Vance, referring to the ongoing negotiations, stated that Washington and Israel share many common interests, but they may adopt different approaches on certain issues. He emphasized that the primary goal of the United States is to prevent the Islamic Republic from acquiring nuclear weapons.
