A Chattogram court has indicted Monir Hossain in a case over the rape of a 3-and-a-half-year-old child in Chairman Ghata of Chattogram’s Bakalia.
Chattogram Metropolitan Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge Syeda Hafza Jhuma made the decision on Tuesday.
The child’s father, grandparents, aunt, and local colony caretaker have testified before the tribunal
The judge set the indictment hearing in the case for Tuesday
The trial is proceeding to a verdict after four days of hearings
There have been only five working days from the start of the trial to the verdict
The court completed hearing testimonies in the case on Tuesday with 16 of 17 witnesses testifying
The accused were indicted in the case on Monday
