That showed up specifically during a 2023 playoff game in sub-zero temperatures against the Miami Dolphins, as Sneed on one play famously jammed receiver Tyreek Hill to the ground before giving him a few extra shoves, reflecting the Chiefs’ aggressive mindset defensively.K.C. traded Sneed to the Tennessee Titans during the 2024 offseason in exchange for a third-rounder plus a swap of seventh-round picks. Sneed never lived up to expectations for his new team, however, playing in just 12 games the last two seasons while battling knee and quad injuries. The knee problems have been chronic — Sneed sat out most of the 2023 training camp to manage an ailing knee before starting 16 games for the Chiefs that season.Sneed, 29, should compete for an outside corner spot at the end of the Chiefs’ depth chart. The team selected Mansoor Delane with the sixth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and 2025 third-round pick Nohl Williams also profiles as a starter on the outside. K.C. has depth in 2025 free-agent signing Kristian Fulton and added Kaiir Elam, a 2022 first-round pick of the Bills, this offseason. There’s at least a possibility the Chiefs could look to utilize Sneed at safety, a position he played in high school and during his senior year at Louisiana Tech.
