The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. West Midlands Police said the death was being treated as "unexplained" and officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the cause.A resident told Birmingham Live: "He was a lovely old man, who would speak to everyone. We saw the private ambulance outside his house. It's so sad."A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We were called at just after 11.15am today (Mon), to reports of a man’s body at a property in Roundlea Road, Birmingham. The death is currently being as treated as unexplained, and we are carrying out further enquiries."A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service added: "We were called to an incident at an address near to Lockwood Lane in Northfield, Birmingham, at 11.12am.Article continues below"We sent an ambulance and a Community First Responder to the scene. On arrival, crews found a man.
