The Australian star of telly hit The Farmer Wants A Wife took a funny turn after the hunky farmer opted for another contestant.‌Bene, 31, was in with a chance of landing herself a husband. But, sadly for her, farmer Jason decided she wasn't the one for her. He let her know his decision on the first episode, but what happened next stunned the cast and viewers at home.‌Jason, 37, sent a number of the hopefuls home, explaining: "I want to thank you guys for being a part of this. I really enjoyed meeting you and I wish you luck.”‌But as she thanked Jason, Bene went in for a final hug and appeared to stumble. As she scrunched up her face, it was clear something wasn't right, leaving host Natalie Gruzlewski to ask the hopeful if she was okay.She explained she wasn't alright and suddenly collapsed to the floor. As Jason and other co-stars tried to catch her, Natalie shouted: "We need a medic."‌After assistance came and helped her, the disappointed hopeful revealed she had collapsed. Not able to get over what happened, she branded it "the most embarrassing thing".Jason, a dairy farmer from Coolabunia, Queensland, describes himself as a happy-go-lucky person with a good sense of humour. And while his friends describe him as a gentle giant, he admitted before the show began that he is ready to enjoy his life more.‌Jason told producers he is looking for a partner who is fun, bubbly and genuine, with a positive outlook on life. And he admitted he is a "sucker for a beautiful smile," while also being drawn towards confident people who know how to relax and not take life too seriously.Bene said before the show why Jason should choose. She said: "I really admire the devotion he has to his kids and the secure, happy family life he wants to build."Plus, the mix of hard work on the farm balanced with cups of tea, laughter, and not taking life too seriously sounds exactly like the kind of partnership I’m looking for.‌She added: "I’m a devoted mum to a beautiful five-year-old girl who is the light of my life. Family is everything to me, so anyone with me is signing up for a team, not just a partnership."I’ll always have your back and be your biggest cheerleader.
