The number of people wounded in the Russian air strike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region has risen to 9.
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"On June 8, 2026, occupation forces attacked Sloviansk with three FAB-250 bombs with UMPK guidance kits. Residential buildings came under enemy fire, and six women aged 48 to 75, two men aged 59 and 68, and a 17-year-old girl were wounded," the statement said.
According to the prosecutor's office, the victims were diagnosed with blast injuries and traumatic brain injuries with concussion, shrapnel wounds, a closed fracture, multiple lacerations and cuts, and contusions. The injured received qualified medical care.
