MANILA, Philippines — 101.5 Love Radio General Santos said all its personnel are safe after the building housing the station collapsed following a magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao on Monday morning.
In a statement, the station said the collapse occurred after the earthquake hit at 7:37 a.m., about 32 kilometers southwest of Maasim, Sarangani at a depth of 33 kilometers.
“While it is sad, we need to accept this unexpected turn of events,” the station said.
Love Radio General Santos assured the public that all employees of the station, as well as personnel of RH News FM, were unharmed.
