Coromandel International on Monday said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samunnati Agri Value Chain Solutions to enable the supply, promotion and distribution of agri-inputs to FPOs (Farmer Producer Organisations) across India. The MoU aims to strengthen market access and improve the availability of high-quality agri-inputs by harnessing Samunnati’s extensive FPO network and Coromandel’s expertise in crop nutrition, crop protection and agri services. The partnership will also explore customised marketing support initiatives, product demonstrations and technology adoption programs to support sustainable agricultural growth. Madhab Adhikari, EVP & Business Head of fertiliser, SSP, and nano at Coromandel and Suresh Rajagopalan, the Executive Director of Samunnati, signed the MoU in the presence of Narayanan Vellayan, Executive Director of Crop Nutrition, Coromandel, and other senior officials of Coromandel and Samunnati.
