The challenge serves as a poignant tribute to his late former Leeds Rhinos teammate, Rob Burrow, who tragically passed away in 2024 after a four-and-a-half-year battle with MND. Sinfield's latest endeavour will see him attempt an ultra marathon daily for seven consecutive days, visiting all 12 English Betfred Super League grounds and culminating on the pitch at Old Trafford before the Super League Grand Final. Each day will involve completing 7km blocks within an hour, and the popular 'Extra Mile' event will also return, allowing Sinfield to run a mile alongside individuals affected by MND. Having already amassed over £11 million for the MND community, Sinfield highlighted the collective effort and the ongoing necessity to push for a cure, stating, "We’ve got to keep pushing, we’ve got to try and find a cure."
