‘The Draft “Registered Allied and Healthcare Professionals (Professional Conduct & Ethics) Regulations, 2026” released by the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions — is the first comprehensive code of ethics for registered allied and healthcare professionals (RAHPs), including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, optometrists, nutritionists, medical laboratory professionals, radiology professionals, physician associates, and several other allied health categories.Until now, many allied health professions in India lacked a common national ethical framework.
