President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his party’s victory in the parliamentary elections.
According to Ukrinform, the president announced this on the social media platform X.
“I congratulate Armenia on holding democratic and free elections, and Nikol Pashinyan on his victory. This is also a victory for Armenia’s sovereignty, your independence, and your right to live the way you choose. We wish you success,” he wrote.
He noted that Ukraine is ready to expand cooperation with Armenia.
The president also added that now is the time for the European Union to truly support Armenia and do everything necessary so that people feel that life is better thanks to relations with Europe. “This is a test for the European Union. It is important not to lose time or miss opportunities,” Zelensky emphasized.
