They have rarely been out of the spotlight since - leading to concerns from friends and fans alike.‌He was due to join his wife on Good Morning Britain last month to squash fears about their marriage, but failed to show. The glamour model then raised the alarm and claimed that he was “missing” - before it emerged that he had been detained in Al Awir prison in Dubai, over accusations of espionage.‌In a bombshell new interview, she opened up about where their relationship stands now and why she is determined to help the entrepreneur, after describing him as the “most hated man in Britain”.‌Confusion over travel banThe confusion over Lee’s background and location first began when he was due to appear on GMB alongside his wife, marking their live TV debut. At the time, it was alleged that he had a travel ban and was unable to leave the UAE, claims that he continued to deny.However, Lee failed to get on the plane and originally made an excuse for his absence in a baffling video from an airport, claiming that he was on his way to the UK. In another twist, the self-proclaimed millionaire went “missing” shortly after this was posted.Katie said that they had spoken during a worrying FaceTime call, in which he alleged that he was being detained in the back of a van, and his hands had been tied.‌It later emerged that he was behind bars in Dubai and - while it was suggested that he would be released last Monday - he still remains there today.However, in a chat with the Sun, Katie confirmed that he “eventually” informed her that he does have a ban. She told him that he made her “look like a d**k” with the move, insisting that she “won’t stand for” the lies.‌Happy to move onAfter a “tough few weeks” in the spotlight, attempting to get to the bottom of her husband’s legal troubles, Katie has conceded that she is happy to cut her losses and move on if things continue.“I’m not a mug and when I finally see Lee, I am going to question him. And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I’ll be done,” she insisted to the outlet. “That’s it. And I’ll just get on with my life… and not find a man on Instagram and message him….”Six-figure paymentWhen news of Lee’s incarceration broke last month, it was claimed that he would need to pay a fine, thought to be “four figures” before he would be allowed to leave.‌The Sun reports that Katie arrived at Al Awir prison with her partner’s case number, where she was informed that she would need to fork out £6,500 for his release.However, while she was ready to hand a credit card over, she was then told about a third case “relating to property” - which is reportedly awaiting a court date.Instead of the original £6,500 sum, she would have to stump up £140,000 for his freedom, something the outlet claimed that she drew the line over.‌‌Meeting with his exWhile in Dubai, Katie also made a beeline for Lee’s ex, Dina, and they teamed up for an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show. Although it has yet to premiere, there have been clips circulating online, showing the pair discussing the situation."Well I was basically dating Lee - unfortunately - for three and a half years so I know [you've] probably seen some of my pictures that showed up on social media,” Dina said.Katie told her: "I came to Dina about one of the cases because I thought, is Dina involved? And then obviously we had a cup of tea, as girls do, we've had a long chat, and that's for us to know, and for you to find out in the future.
