Money Review, Kathimerini’s Greek-language business news website, holds its “NatCat Summit” on Wednesday, examining how natural catastrophes are redefining risk exposure across industries and what that means for long-term resilience, business continuity and enterprise value.

The purpose of the summit is to jointly shape strategies for more resilient communities.

Policymakers and senior leaders from the sectors of technology, energy construction, real estate, insurance, shipping and finance will discuss how to embed risk mitigation into core strategy and turn resilience into competitive advantage, as well as anticipating regulatory shifts and climate-driven disruptions.

Speakers will include European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority chair Petra Hielkema, and Greek ministers of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Dimas, Maritime and Insular Policy Vasilis Kikilias, and Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou.

The conference runs from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, 364 Syngrou, Kallithea, Athens.
