12 injured after gunmen opened fire at festival, police manhunt ongoing

Police in Ohio, US, are searching for at least two gunmen who opened fire near a popular summer festival on Saturday, June 6, injuring 12 people.

According to NBC News, the shooting occurred at around 5:30 p.m. near the Old West End Festival in Toledo.

Deputy Police Chief Joseph Heffernan said preliminary investigations suggest the suspects were targeting each other and struck bystanders in the crossfire.

Authorities later confirmed that all 12 victims were in stable condition and recovering.
