The embassy also advised Indians already in Iran to leave the country through available means of transport. It said: “Indian Nationals presently in Iran are also advised to exit the country by available means of transport.” The latest notice follows a series of advisories issued by the Indian mission in Tehran in recent months amid security concerns and developments in the region. Earlier advisories had similarly urged Indian citizens to leave Iran at the earliest and coordinate with the embassy regarding their travel plans.
