When it comes to banking and asset management in Norway, DNB is impossible to overlook. The country’s largest bank and its asset management business rank among Norway’s most recognized financial brands. In Switzerland, however, the group is still in the early stages of building its franchise.

DNB Asset Management, that has had presence in continental europe, reenforced its position in Swiss market by opening an office a year ago, while DNB Bank has maintained a local presence for the past two years. The firm is now entering the next phase of its expansion strategy.

«We have successfully established our initial presence and build the team from Zurich and Geneva,» said Amra Koluder, Managing Director and Head of International Clients and Distribution at DNB Asset Management, in an interview with finews.com.

From Banks to Family Offices

During its first phase in Switzerland, DNB focused primarily on building relationships with local banks and financial institutions. The next step is to broaden its reach to additional client segments.
