An earthquake of magnitude 8.2 struck Mindanao in the Philippines on Monday (June 8, 2026), the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), GFZ said.GFZ earlier pegged the earthquake at 7.3 magnitude.
