Tanta University Hits Milestone in Treating Childhood Tumours
A medical team at Egypt’s Tanta University Hospitals has performed delicate surgery to remove a two-kilogram malignant tumour from a 10-year-old girl at the university’s Children’s Cancer Hospital.
According to a statement from Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education, the two-hour operation was a complete success and the girl was discharged in stable condition.
The achievement reflects the advanced capabilities of university hospitals with continuous investment in state-of-the-art medical equipment and technology, and trained medical staff leading to improved patient healthcare.
