Play was halted after former Manchester United man Eriksen appeared to clutch his chest and fall to the ground in the 64th minute of the game in Odense.‌Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during a Denmark match at Euro 2020 five years ago, and his team-mates were in tears as he was treated by medical staff. But the midfielder was well enough to walk off the pitch himself. He was then rushed to the hospital where he is set to undergo more tests.‌And in an update, Denmark club doctor Morten Boesen said: "Christian is doing well and walked off the pitch himself. As I see it, the pacemaker gave a shock, as it is supposed to.‌“He was briefly out, but regained consciousness very quickly, and we were quickly in contact with him. Now he needs to be examined further at the hospital to find out what caused the incident.“We are continuously in contact with him and the doctors at the hospital.
