A 28-year-old law student died, and one woman fell ill at a ‘Klangkuenstler All Night Long’ concert held in Mumbai’s NSCI Dome in Worli late on Saturday (June 6, 2026) night.The deceased has been identified as Rishabh Gangurde (28), a resident of Mahim, reportedly heavily intoxicated, while his friend (31) was taken to the hospital after she complained of feeling sick. This led the police to investigate the involvement of drugs in the case.The Mumbai Police filed an Accidental Death Report at the Tardeo Police Station for a 28-year-old male brought dead to the Breach Candy Hospital, from there he was taken to the Nair Hospital for a post-mortem examination.According to the preliminary inquiry, the deceased experienced a medical emergency during the event. “The cause of death remains unclear, forensic reports are awaited,” a police official from Tardeo said.The woman was taken to Jaslok Hospital for medical treatment. She is in a stable condition, according to the Tardeo police. “Based on enquiries, she had consumed alcohol and energy drinks during that time. No drug substance use was revealed. Further investigation surrounding the death of the deceased is in progress. We are examining the CCTV cameras inside, and other electronic devices,” the police official said.The police are also examining if this was a ‘rave party’.
