Home Minister Priyank Kharge has said that applications have been invited for filling up 3,395 posts of police constables (civil) by the State Home Department.The written exams for these posts will be conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority on an offline-OMR basis, he said in a press release issued on June 7.Of the 3,395 posts, 2,226 have been reserved for men, 755 for women, and 35 for transgenders. Similarly, 257 and 82 posts have been reserved for in-service men and women respectively, he added.The selected candidates will receive a salary between ₹37,500 and ₹76,100. Those with a minimum qualification of PU or equivalent are eligible to apply.
