Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) T.S. Anbu, reviewing law and order situation of Madurai and Dindigul ranges with senior police officers in Madurai on Sunday.
Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) T.S. Anbu has instructed police officials in southern districts to focus on maintenance of law and order and to curb crime against women and children.He was chairing a meeting with Inspector General of Police (South Zone), Vijeyandra Bidari, Madurai City Commissioner of Police, Kapil Kumar C. Saratkar, and senior police officers from Madurai and Dindigul Ranges.Mr. Anbu said that the police force should take all-out efforts to eradicate drugs.Besides, the officers have been advised to take up community outreach programmes like foot-patrolling to meet people and discuss problems they are facing.DIGs Abhinav Kumar (Madurai) and V.
