The governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress in Kano State, Aminu Gwarzo
The governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress in Kano State, Aminu Gwarzo, has expressed his condolences over the death of former Managing Director of Abubakar Rimi Television, Alhaji Adamu Getso.
PUNCH Online reports that Getso died on Saturday in his hometown of Getso, Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State.
He also served as Managing Director of Radio Kano during the second term administration of former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
In a condolence message on Sunday issued through his Spokesperson, Ibrahim Shuaibu, Gwarzo described the late broadcaster as a seasoned media professional whose immense contributions to public communication and the development of Kano State would be remembered for generations.
