ByJERUSALEM POST STAFFJUNE 6, 2026 23:52Updated: JUNE 7, 2026 00:17A suspected car ramming terror attack occurred at the Efrat Junction in the West Bank on Saturday night, the IDF announced.Army Radio reported that, prior to the event, dozens of Israeli Jewish rioters had blocked roads in the area, forcing Palestinian cars to turn around and, in some cases, performing unauthorized searches in their vehicles.According to an unnamed security official, there were also several rocks thrown at the Palestinian cars.As the Palestinian drivers fled, Army Radio reported, one of the rioters had apparently been run over.Army Radio also reported that some security forces who had been in the vicinity of the event at the time had made no effort to stop the rioters' actions, and according to witnesses were seen speaking to them without arresting them.The details of the incident are still under review, the IDF stated.This is a developing story.Follow us on Google
