As football fans in Kerala prepare for the FIFA world cup season, the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has cautioned them against placing flex boards, banners and flags celebrating football teams close to electricity lines. There is a strong possibility of such objects crashing on to electricity lines, causing power outages and serious accidents during heavy rainfall and storms, the KSEB said in a statement.
