Health Minister K. Muraleedharan held discussions with over 60 doctors and professionals from health and allied sectors here on Friday, who were involved with the preparation of the report of the United Democratic Front’s Health Commission, which was held last year.Mr. Muraleedharan said that the commission’s report was a mirror to the realities in the State’s health sector. He said that he did not have any expertise in the health sector and that he will require the expert advice of health professionals on a regular basis.He said that his effort was to study and assimilate lessons from the mistakes committed by the former Government in the health sector and to make the Health department more people-friendly and patient-centric.Those who participated in the discussion included eminent neurosurgeon, Marthana Pillai, RV Ashokan, V.
