A corporate coach named Dharmendra S Pandey recently took to Instagram to reveal why he left a stable 9 to 5 job after eighteen years. He revealed that he has a family dependent on him but he has never regretted his decision. “Never felt more alive in my life,” he said.In another video, he revealed that despite giving so many hours and effort to the job, he was far from being prosperous. "I was just surviving..." he said. Dharmendra revealed that as a professional, his track-record was impeccable. He was one of the hardest workers in his organisation and often used to stay behind to contribute to projects. He was also the one responsible for training the new employees in the organisation. However, all of his hard word felt futile as he was always bypassed for promotions. “Office politics always won..” he revealed. Then when he turned 38, he had enough. “I have a daughter, ageing parents. I don’t have savings worth crores. I also had the confidence that my 18 years of skill and knowledge was worth more than what I was getting right now, so I resigned,” he said.
