A passenger who was allegedly pushed from a moving bus due fare dispute, has succumbed to his injuries after being ran over, with his death confirmed on Friday afternoon at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH), where he had been receiving treatment.
In the video that has since gone viral, the involved bus, was captured speeding away after a passenger was seen falling onto the road after being pushed from the moving bus.
Reports indicate that the victim, who is said to be a student, was rescued and rushed to KNH by the owner of a private vehicle who recorded the incident and remained by his side throughout his treatment.
The incident has reignited public outrage and backlash as such incidents involving loss of life tied to Matatus are increasing.
