Speaking on Saturday in Abuja, the ADC group’s spokesperson, Mr. Peter Emeka, said the judiciary must not allow itself to be used to undermine democracy.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) through one of its support groups, the Grassroots Mobilisation Network, has cautioned Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court against actions that could plunge the country into political crisis, ahead of a pending leadership case involving the party and a faction led by Nafiu Bala.

Speaking on Saturday in Abuja, the ADC group’s spokesperson, Mr. Peter Emeka, said the judiciary must not allow itself to be used to undermine democracy.

“The ruling party doesn’t want anyone on the ballot. The judiciary should not allow itself to be used for such ignominy,” Emeka said.
