Nollywood actor and producer Emelu Simon Chibuzor has dismissed claims that film directors and producers are forcing young, aspiring actresses to undergo body enhancement to land movie roles and hit the limelight.
The allegation has gained traction following the recent trend of mostly “beautiful faces” dominating screens. But reacting to it, Chibuzor blamed the practice on a lack of talent and the desire for shortcuts to stardom.
“Any actress who decides to go under the knife just to earn movie roles doesn’t know what she’s doing,” he said. “If you are good, you are good, despite your looks.”
