New York is ablaze with love for the Knicks, who are currently in the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. The insane fervor has caused ticket prices to soar to bonkers heights for games on the team’s home turf.
Resale ticket prices have officially surpassed the $100,000 for a seat at Madison Square Garden. For Game 3, you can expect to cough up $102,880 each for a pair of tickets in section 12D, per The Athletic. For a section 11D, row 1, spot, at Game 4 of the Finals, meanwhile, you’re looking at a price of $102,603, Intelligencer reported. The cheapest ticket for that matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, sits at a cool $8,929.
The Knicks, for their part, are currently up 1-0 against the Spurs in the NBA Finals, which has only added to the blue-and-orange mania that has generated over $200 million in economic activity in the postseason, Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced earlier this week. New Yorkers’ intense enthusiasm for its home team is at record levels, with the demand for Game 3 tickets on par with the Super Bowl.
