"They didn't actually see it go down, but it looked like it wasn't very stable and then obviously it went down."A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "We were called to a report of light aircraft crash near Pitsford."Two people have been taken to hospital for treatment, and an investigation into what happened has begun. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch have been informed."In a statement released earlier this evening, Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews were called shortly after 15:45 BST to reports of a light aircraft coming down in a field, and on arrival firefighters helped to close off nearby roads to ensure emergency vehicles could access the scene."Two people have been evacuated from the aircraft, and have been left in the care of paramedics.
